Rules of the Realm
Nine laws govern every challenge to the throne. They are deterministic, enforced by the system itself, and blind to your intentions. Read them before you pay tribute. Every bid is final.
One Realm per URL
Challengers enter the court by submitting a public http(s) URL. URLs are canonicalised (protocol, www, trailing slash, fragments and query strings are stripped), and a URL that already holds a seat cannot be submitted twice.
Tribute Is Paid in Full
Every bid charges the full amount you enter, never the difference between you and your rival. Bids range from $1.00 to $999,999.99, charged securely through our payment providers.
A Bid Counts Only When the Gold Arrives
A bid activates exclusively after our payment provider verifies a charge as succeeded via a cryptographically signed webhook. Pending, failed, cancelled or expired payments never touch the leaderboard. Payments are final: refunds and chargebacks are handled under the operator’s dispute policy. There is no un-bidding.
Cumulative Tribute Decides Rank
A listing’s standing is the sum of all its verified bids. Every verified bid is permanent and immutable: your cumulative total only ever grows.
The Law of Succession
To pass a rival you must strictly exceed their cumulative tribute; an equal total never takes the seat. Ties in total are broken in favour of the listing whose payment was verified first.
You Were Warned
A listing whose cumulative tribute is under $10 is branded a PRISONER, regardless of its rank. The court shows an explicit warning before you confirm any bid that would leave a realm in chains. There are no refunds for ignoring it.
The Crown Is Never Safe
The moment a challenger’s cumulative tribute strictly exceeds the King’s, the throne changes hands atomically and the dethronement is recorded forever in the Royal History.
Content May Cost You Your Seat
You may only submit URLs you are permitted to promote. Listings that are unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive or otherwise prohibited by our Terms may be disabled by the court at any time. Disabled listings lose their rank; financial records are always retained.
No Games of Chance
This is not gambling. There is no prize pool, no lottery and no random outcome. Ranks are a deterministic function of verified bid totals, and spending money guarantees no particular rank.
Who Rules, and Why
- The Sovereign King
Rank #1 · Sole Ruler
The supreme authority over all registered URLs. Holds the crown until surpassed by a strictly greater challenger. There is only ever one King.
- The Queen
Rank #2 · Tribute >= $10
One bid from the throne. Absolute ambition personified. The Queen holds power and waits for the moment to strike.
- The Vizier
Rank #3 · Tribute >= $10
The mind behind the throne. The Vizier operates through calculated strategy and information, the power broker of the inner court.
- The Nobles
Ranks #4–8 (>= $10) · Ranks #9+ (>= $50)
Landed challengers of legitimate standing. Nobles hold rank through sustained tribute. Those above $50 retain their noble honor regardless of position.
- The Commoners
Ranks #4+ · Tribute $10 – $49.99
Challengers in the arena with a foothold in the kingdom. Not yet noble, but alive in the contest. One well-placed bid changes everything.
- The Prisoners
Tribute < $10 · Overrides Rank
Those whose cumulative tribute remains under $10. Bound in chains and stripped of all honor until redeemed by tribute. You were warned.
